Communication Strategies and Planning

Helping organisations develop communications strategies and plans is at the core of what we do.

We see every opportunity to develop an effective strategy as a step forward in the fight against poverty. As such, we are prepared to dedicate our time and effort on a strategy that we can be sure your organisation is passionate about and committed to.

The impact of a well formed strategy on the lives of people in developing countries, and the effect it can have on an organisation’s success makes this process invaluable.

Our approach depends on the client's needs. You may want to adapt an existing strategy or you may want a more evidence-based approach that shows the impact of your communications spending. You may be starting from scratch. In every case, there is an underlying responsibility on our part to bring your messages and stories to life, to ensure your audiences are inspired.

To achieve an effective strategy, we sit down with our clients to ensure we understand fully the objectives at the heart of the organisation. We ask critical questions about what you hope to achieve from the strategy, your intended audience is, and the context in which you operate. We also need to understand existing communication practices within the organisation, what has been successful and what has not.

We expect our clients come to the table fully aware and committed to the important role communication plays in the development field. This includes dedicating the relevant resources in terms of time, staff and budgetary requirements to ensure the strategy is successful.
